SMS Terms & Messaging Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains how Receitly ("we", "us") uses SMS text messaging and how you can manage your consent. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. What messages we send
Receitly sends one-time verification codes (2FA / OTP) to confirm your identity when you register or sign in to the Receitly mobile app. These are transactional, account-security messages. We do not send marketing or promotional messages under this program.
Example message: "Your Receitly sign-in verification code is 123456. Do not share it with anyone. Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply."
2. How you consent (opt-in)
You opt in inside the Receitly mobile app: you enter your own mobile number and tap "Send code" to request a verification passcode. Requesting the code is your consent to receive that SMS. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You will only receive a message after you take this action.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and is limited to the verification codes you request when you sign in or verify your number.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
5. Opt-out and help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@receitly.com.
6. Privacy — sharing of mobile data
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your number only to deliver the verification codes described above and to operate and secure your account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Supported carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
